Historical Photographs of Walton le Dale

A number of Historical Photographs showing Walton le Dale in days gone by can be seen on the Preston Digital Archive. The Preston Digital Archive was created in 2008 with the initial aim of gathering together a total of 2,012 vintage images of Preston to celebrate the 2012 Preston Guild – an event that takes place every 20 years. When the 2012 Guild celebrations were brought to a close, a decision was made to continue to attract and display historical images of the town and to have the collection serve as a visual reference library, useful in supporting local history projects.

A selection of them can be seen here.
