Walton le Dale (Bamber Bridge) Local Library

There isn’t currently a local library in Walton le Dale. The nearest library to Walton le Dale is in Bamber Bridge.  This library was once part of the Walton-le-Dale Urban District Council, and the building has the council’s civic crest (Coat of Arms) on the front.

After a period of closure, the library on Station Road was reopened on December 11th 2018 by County Councillor Barrie Yates, who represented the local area, with visitors once again able to choose from a selection of over 4,000 books.

Events and activities

You and your family can attend a range of reading, learning, craft and cultural events and activities. Most are free, some have a small charge and some need to be booked.

Access and parking

Parking is available on side streets, however there is a bicycle park at the library. There is a ramp for easy access to the library.
